Thank you for your interest in consignment with Sophie’s Sweet Seams. We are looking for trendy, current season clothing, shoes & accessories in excellent, used condition. We also accept designer and luxury items!
Below you’ll find all the information you need about the process and payout for consignment.
Pricing & Payouts:
These are the most important. We price all items. We price to sell but also to get the most money for your item. If there’s an item that is authentic designer or high end, let us know beforehand so you can help set a minimum price.
Payouts are done per consignor’s request. Please allow 30-60 days after drop off to make your initial request. You can make a request via Facebook messenger, email or coming into the shop. Once request is made, please allow 48-72 hours for payout to be made.
Payouts can be made via Venmo, cashapp, PayPal or check.
Payout Percentages:
- Item $49 or less: 60% of sale price
- Items $50-$99: 70% of sale price
- Items $99 - $199: 80% of sale price
- Items $200+: 85% of sale price
**Percentages are paid out to Consigner & minus any platform fees
** Items $50+ can be listed to other platforms & typically sit a little longer.
Dropping Off:
Drop offs are accepted at the Sophie’s Sweet Seams Shop (3436 34th Street, Lubbock Texas 79410) during business hours. You will be asked to register via our consignment app which will give you access to see what items we have listed, commission history, and more!
When dropping off, please have your name & phone number on each crate or bag. You can drop off using large black trash bags or crates or boxes. That’s totally up to you.
Far-away-friends, if you are interested in shipping items for consignment, you will be responsible for shipping costs.
Making the Selections:
We will go through each individual item. If we return an item to you, it’s because of wear, season or the style is dated. We want to choose the best of your items to make you the most money! For items we pass on, we will ask if you’d like to donate. If you would like to pick up unselected items, you have 3 business days from the day of our notification. You will be able to see which items we selected in the consignment app.
Other Information:
Rarely do we have girls ask for their items back, but if that’s the case, please allow 10 days for us to pull the inventory.
After 6 months, unsold items will be donated to a local non-profit charity. It is the responsibility of the consignor to keep track of this and request items to be returned.
